Poetry Pharmacy Returns
The Poetry Pharmacy Returns - the sequel to The Poetry Pharmacy - is a collection of poems for every situation, collected and prescribed by William Sieghart. The idea of a poetry pharmacy came about from a series of workshops, or 'clinics' that Sieghart ran, where members of the public could visit with their problems, and be 'prescribed' a piece of poetry for their ailment. In this volume, he gives additional space to problems around family and social relations, in direct response to the many requests he received during his poetry clinics. Sieghart believes that the right piece of poetry, at the right moment, can provide an unbelievable feeling of complicity. Featuring poetry from Robert Frost, Anne Brontë, Rumi and many more, The Poetry Pharmacy Returns aims to continue to bring the realisation that 'I am not the only one who feels like this' to all who read it.
