Dublin by Evelyn Hofer
This strikingly beautiful book of photographs focuses on the photos Hofer took on behalf of the publisher Harper & Row in 1965 and 1966 documenting the city, and the people. Evelyn Hofer’s Dublin: A Portrait, originally published in 1967, features an in-depth essay by V. S. Pritchett and photos by Hofer. This book is cited as perhaps Hofer’s most important body of work, that of her city portraits. Dublin: A Portrait was the last book published in this renowned series.
