Maker's Selection: A Chocolate Tasting Tour of Ireland
This collection is designed to transport your taste buds across the country. With 5 super tasty bars to chose from - you will be spoilt for choice.
The Proper Chocolate Company takes us up to the Wild Atlantic Coast with the layered texture and tasty mineralness of Achill Island Sea Salt, to the sweet crunchiness of Murphy’s Ice Cream’s Caramelised Irish Brown Bread.
Next they head to the idyllic greens of Waterford with the Tarte Tatin bar, which marries our blond salted caramel chocolate with the sweet, slightly tart apple sticks by The Lismore Food Company, then on to Dublin with Ireland’s first and only barrel-aged chocolate, using Hungarian Virgin Oak Casks specifically chosen by Teeling Whiskey’s Master Distiller. Finally, they go to the calm banks of Lough Erne in County Fermanagh, where The Boatyard Distillery produce their Double Gin. The flavoursome spent botanicals that are used in producing their Double gin go in to make the utterly delicious Boatyard Gin-Infused Dark Chocolate.
