I can't believe I still have to protest this shit: 100 Years of Women's Rights Struggles in Posters
In this book, artist Jessica Hallbäck has collected 20 fantastic posters from the last 100 years right up until today, all related to the fight for gender equality. The inspiration for the book came from a sign carried during the 2017 Women's March on Washington. The lady carrying the sign has been protesting for the past 50 years, half the length of time covered by the book.
Highlighting the humour, hope, and resiliency of the movement, the posters in this book can be pulled out and put up on the wall. Each poster comes with a short accompanying text about its history. While the posters come from many different countries, the main message is universal - everyone is entitled to equal rights, without discrimination.
