Make Hummus Not War
This print was inspired by JIBRIN authors Izzeddeen Alkarajeh and Eman Aburabi and the original version of the Free Palestine mural painted next to their Izz Café in Cork City. The mural included the line ‘make hummus, not war’, but that part had to be painted over.
In collaboration with Izz cafe and Blasta Books, Julie and Owen at JANDO have made a risograph print version of the mural as a reminder that when we sit down together to share food at the table, we can find points of connection and commonality.
All profits from the sale of this print will go to World Central Kitchen to support their work providing meals in Gaza.
