DIY drinks by Pineut

Looking to make up your liqueur, cocktail or hot chocolate, but are feeling like the instructions seem a little bit like double Dutch?! We love the products from this Dutch brand but recognise that Dutch might not be a language you have gotten to grips with yet. So we have made up this page with all the translated instructions and other important details for each and every one of the different Pineut drinks we have in stock this winter.

Cocktail Liqueur Bottles

Cherry Liqueur

Ingredients: cane sugar, freeze-dried cherries, freeze-dried raspberries and elderflower.

Instructions:

Add 175 ml of vodka or gin to the bottle and let it infuse for 6 weeks, shaking regularly. Then pour and enjoy! This probably makes 2 glasses if you feel like sharing (but you don't have to)

Ready for a Kiss Limoncello Liqueur

Ingredients: Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Lemon and Thyme

Instructions:

Scrub the lime and grate the zest. Add the juice and zest with 175ml of vodka into the bottle, shake and leave it to infuse for 2 days. Then sieve the little bits out and serve. Makes 1 - 3 glasses depending on how generous you want to be with portions.

Taste of Heaven Liqueur

Ingredients: cane sugar, cinnamon stick, anise, star anise, fennel seeds and chamomile

Instructions:

Pour 175ml of any old vodka or gin into the bottle, let it infuse for 6 weeks, shaking it regularly. The longer you leave it to infuse, the stronger the taste will be. Then sieve the bits out, and pour! Makes 1 - 3 glasses depending on how generous you want to be with portions.

Coffee Liqueur

Ingredients:

roasted coffee beans, vanilla pod and cardamom.

Instructions:

Add 150 ml of brand or gin to the bottle and let it infuse for 6 weeks, shaking regularly. Then pour and enjoy! This probably makes 2 glasses if you feel like sharing (but you don't have to)

Decoration Jars:

Hot Choco Weather

Ingredients: dates, cacao, cinnamon stick.

Instructions:

Pop the dates and caco into a blender and mix with 800ml of milk until you have a smooth paste. Pop it into a pot and gently heat with the cinnamon stick, stirring until it is just the perfect temperature. Makes enough for 4 scrummy cups.

Hello Winter

Ingredients:

cinnamon, star anise, coriander seed, mace, cardamom and clove.

Instructions:

Add 100ml orange juice and 100ml gin/gin into the jar. Let it steep for 4 hours (let those spices do their magic). Filter the mix and divide into four glasses (or one large one, no judging here). Top the cocktails with tonic. If you want to make it look extra festive and swish, garnish the top with some of the spices from the mix. Bottoms up!

Let it Snow

Ingredients:

Juniper berries, coriander seed and orange peel

Instructions:

Add this mixture to 700ml of vodka and let it infuse for 1 week. Strain out the little bits, pour, mix as desired and enough!

Warm Wishes

Ingredients:

dried cranberries, Apple, star anise, Cinnamon, cardamom and pink pepper

Instructions:

Add the contents of the jar together with a bottle of wine or apple juice (750ml) to a pan. Heat gently for 20 minutes (Be careful, don't let it boil). Serve in your favourite glasses, mugs or jars and enjoy. Cheers!
