I don’t want to get too heavy, our job here is to sell you funny cards and always have the best suggestions for gifts but to paraphrase Carol Hanish, the personal is also political - so rather than putting together a rainbow coloured collection of products for pride, here’s a list of some of the organisations who are deeply involved in the continued struggle for LGBTQ+ representation that you might consider donating to.
Pride was started as a protest, and while it is also often one hell of a party, it’s important not to lose sight of the origins and be distracted by all the rainbows and glitter. We do reserve the right to decorate the window though.
