What is it?
Original (unframed) letterpress print inspired by George Orwell’s classic ‘1984’.
'It was a bright cold day in April, and the clocks were striking thirteen. The print is part of a collection by One Strong Arm created in collaboration with illustrator extraordinaire Mick Minogue. The collection is inspired by the opening lines of classic 20th century literature.
One Strong Arm is a letterpress print studio based in the heart of Dublin city. They create contemporary typography-led work using traditional methods and occasionally include some more modern techniques and processes. This piece is made using antique metal type and photopolymer printmaking.
What's it made of?
Printed on 170 Gsm mould made Zerkall stock. Printed in two colours.
How does it come?
Unframed 450mm x 320mm, with a card backing wrapped in cellophane.
How can I get it?
You can collect your items in the shop in georges street, dublin (map), or we can deliver it straight to you or your someone special anywhere in Ireland or the rest of Europe (delivery info here). If you want it sent further afield drop us a line and we can arrange that for you. If you are cutting it fine we also have an next day delivery option anywhere in Ireland.
