Fear Mná Tote bags
What is it?
As anyone who's had an Irish education may have picked up 'Fear' means man and 'Mná' mean women. Artist Nessa Finnegan stylish bags are a play on the Irish & English meaning of the words, which raises more questions than answers. Do we fear women? Does society? Should we? Is fear really another word for man? Is that actual irony? If Mná na hEireann are such a fearsome bunch why have we as a society treated them so shoddily?
