The content mirrors how the subject is taught in college design programmes, dealing with research, composition, typography, colour, tools, techniques, print production and web design. It gives practical advice on all aspects of graphic design - from understanding the basics to devising an original concept and creating successful finished designs. It's also packed with exercises and tutorials for students, as well as real-world graphic design briefs.
