How to be Massive
What is it?
A book written and illustrated by Irish woman Aoife Dooley all about the trials and tribulations of life in Dublin as a Gen-Zer. Generation Z have grown up sharing their lives on social media, and Dooley's book does an amazing job of picking out some of the things they have to deal with because of this. It's all written in beautiful inner-city Dublinese, looking at issues like 'Masso hair and how to hide a naggin in yizzer hun bun', 'Contouring that will cover a five-spice-bag-a-week double chin', and 'Life hacks, how to get yizzer Air Max pure white again'. The book is filled with bold, funny illustrations that will make you laugh out loud, particularly if you are (or know) a Gen-Zer. In the same way Ross O'Carroll Kelly works, this book is taking a detailed look at a new, prevalent generation in our society, in a very funny way.
