Letters of Note: Fathers
This lovely little book collects a number of letters by and for fathers written by a number of well know figures; including Anne Frank, Ted Hughes, Arthur Conan Doyle, Samuel Bernstein and many more. Within this collection you will read words of pride, of love, of advice, of frustration and admiration, as each letter weaves a complex narrative of the role of the father figure and how they have shaped the lives of those they have fathered.
Complied by Shaun Usher, this little ode to fatherhood was born of Letters Of Note - which began in 2009 as a website celebrating old-fashioned correspondence to a modern audience.
