The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a....
What is it?
This is a very entertaining self-help style book by Sarah Knight, which borrows its title from the similar The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up (a book released by Maria Kondo in 2011 about the benefits of decluttering). Sarah Knight takes the idea of decluttering to a mental level with her book, where she insists that if you care less, you get more. The idea is that people spend too much time worrying about other people, feeling guilty about things they are or aren't doing, stressing out about not getting enough done, and all these other things that ultimately make people unhappy. The book explains it's time to stop caring, whilst using the F-word A LOT.
This irreverent and practical book explains how to rid yourself of unwanted obligations, shame and guilt - and give your f**ks instead to people and things that make you happy. From family drama to having a bikini body, the simple Not Sorry Method for mental decluttering will help you unleash the power of not giving a f**k and will free you to spend your time, energy and money on the things that really matter.
