The Stress Test
Scientists say that some rocks turn into diamonds under pressure but what about those other rocks? Well, they turn to dust. And so it is with us humans, young and old, in stressful situations some of us shine and some of us crumble. The difference between too much pressure and too little can result in either debilitating stress or lack of motivation in extreme situations. However, the right level of challenge and stress can help people flourish and achieve more than they ever thought possible. The Stress Test is a revelatory study of how and why we react to pressure as we do, how we can change our response to stress to our benefit and whether or not Nietzsche's maxim 'What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger' is really true and to what degree.
