Workplace Warfare by DaVinci Toys

What is it?
These fun office toys are designed by David Searle of DaVinci Toys and made in Ireland. Inspired by the medieval style siege weapons designed by Leonardo da Vinci these cardboard toys are intended for light-hearted office combat. Not suitable for children. Great for relieving tension in the office and having a bit of craic during your busy day. They come flat pack and take between 10-15 mins to make up. There are three varieties of medieval style siege weapons:
Trebusta (Trebuchet): In 1482, Leonardo traveled to Milan to seek work as a military engineer. There he met the Duke of Milan and secured the position of ”Painter and Engineer for The Duke”. It was here that he looked into many aspects of war devices, one of which was the famous DaVinci Trebuchet or Trebusetas.
Arbaleta (Crossbow): In 1499 the French had invaded Lombardy, and Venice was also at war with the Ottoman Empire. It was here that Leonardo allegedly approached the Senate of Venice and offered his services as an engineer. He subsequently designed a giant arbaletas - crossbow, capable of firing flaming bombs. Intended for pure intimidation, da Vinci's crossbow was to measure 27 yards across!
Katapulta (Catapult): In the late summer of 1502, Cesare Borgia the commander of the pope's army, took on Leonardo as his chief military engineer. Borgia had nearly subjugated all of central Italy, the Romagna and as military engineer to Borgia, Leonardo designed some of his many war machines - most notably his 'spring leaf' catapult.
