Written in my Heart
What is it?
From the people at the James Joyce centre in Dublin, this is a beautifully illustrated, fact-filled and fun book which outlines 7 different walking trails around Dublin city. But they are not any old walking trails, they are based on the works and life of James Joyce and his family, and offer a wealth of information on what the city was like in the early 1900s. The title comes from Joyce's famous statement that when he dies Dublin it will be written in his heart. This is an excellent book for tourists and Dubliners alike, as it will give you something interesting, educational and fun to do on your days off, or a good read for the evenings.
