Last week at designist
Our concrete bee blocks and beepots have been creating a real buzz in the shop! The Bee Block will provide a safe little nest and the Beepot even has a space for planting bee friendly flowers, meaning a food source for the bees is never far away.
We also got these gorgeous little seed box sets from Burgon & Ball! Available in an edible flower garden, a herb garden or a wildflower set. Designed by Sophie Conran, they make a great little gift for any green fingered or foodie friend!
Finally, our miniature library is back in stock! Lottie has been chilling out here, reading her head off and loving it! The library & books come flat in the box, for you to make up. And it includes some blank books for you to write the stories yourself!
Congratulations to Twisted Doodles on launching her book! The Newborn Identity is a hilarious series of observations and revelations from the first year of parenting. She dropped into us to sign some copies, and it's a perfect gift for any new or expecting parents.
We celebrated International Women's Day on Friday with a toast to all women, not least our amazing staff and the designers we work with! We've quite the fierce reading list going on at the moment, lots of great books about and by women.
