This website is owned and operated by designist innovators ltd, trading as designist, registered at 68 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2.
In using this website, including all materials available through it, you represent, warrant and agree not to disrupt or interfere with the security of, or otherwise cause harm to, the website, materials, system resources, servers, or networks connected to or accessible through the site or any affiliated or linked websites; not to upload, post or otherwise transmit through the website any viruses or other harmful, disruptive or destructive files; not to provide any false personal information; not to intentionally or unintentionally violate any applicable local, state, national or international law, or any regulations having the force of law; and to indemnify us in respect of any and all claims brought by a third party against us arising out of or in connection with a breach of any of the foregoing.
All the prices on our website and catalogue are in Euro.
We must receive payment for the goods you order before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the address you provided by you. If you choose to collect items in store your order is not accepted by us until we have recieved payment in store. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
We deliver to Ireland, the United Kingdom and mainland Europe as a standard. Delivery can be arranged outside these areas if required. Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get back to you with a quote for delivery and a time frame.
Home delivery - €6 - up to 1kg, which is a bag of sugar. If your order is heavier than this we will contact you to discuss delivery options and cost.
We use An Post Parcel Post service. There standard delivery time is 1-3 working days
Home Delivery- €12 - up to 1kg, which is a bag of sugar. If your order is heavier than this we will contact you to discuss delivery options and cost.

International Home Delivery - €14 up to 1kg. If your order is heavier than this we will contact you to discuss delivery options and cost.

These delivery times are estimates only and delivery may take longer during particularly busy times.
Please provide us with a clear, valid delivery address. If there are any special instructions regarding delivery please indicate this in the special instructions box.
We aim to dispatch orders within 48 hours of order. Weekends and bank holidays may be slower. We will send you an e-mail as soon as your order has been dispatched. If for some reason an item is out of stock will will e-mail you immediately.
We also offer a collect in store option. Please select this as your delivery method if you would like to collect items from us. Any item ordered in this way will be held for 48 hours. If you would like us to hold an item longer please email us at email@example.com
We aim to keep accurate records of stock on the website but if your item is no longer in stock we will contact you with details of when you can expect your order to arrive. You can of course choose to cancel your order if you are unhappy with an extended delivery time.
As so many of our items are gifts we don't put price tags on anything.
If you would like your items gift wrapped please let us know through the special instructions box or by e-mail.
Environmental PolicyAt designist we try to use the minimum of packaging we can, and to reuse packaging as much as possible, to make the minimum impact on the environment we can. Wherever possible we try to choose products made from recycled / ethical materials and to source them from as close as possible to reduce our ecological footprint. Having said all that we also think aesthetics is important and will try to make everything look as nice as possible.
Cancellation and returns
Changing your mind:
You can cancel your order for any reason up to the point of dispatch and any payments made to us will be refunded in full ASAP, but definitely within 28 days. If you cancel an order that has already been shipped, and we have sent you an e-mail confirming this, you may still cancel your order but we will need to charge you the delivery fee.
When you purchase online, you have a statutory right to return a product (other than a special order) up to 7 days after your order has been delivered (cooling off period). We can change or cancel an order up until it is dispatched. If the order has been dispatched, you can return the product to us in its original packaging, with a printed returns form and we will organise a refund (excluding delivery fee). You must inform us of your intention to return the product by e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of making your order and must return the product to us within 28 days of delivery.
If you have placed a special order with us, which will be clearly indicated on the website, then the items are being made specifically for you. These are non-refundable / non-returnable. Of course, we aim to be reasonable, so please get in touch if you have any issues.
If it's not what we said it was:
We aim to give you accurate descriptions of all our goods, but in the event of it not being what you expected we'll be happy for you to return the items and give you a full refund. If for some reason our suppliers change an item and it appears different from what was described on the website, we aim to let you know before the item is shipped. Due to the nature of digital reproduction and screen calibration we cannot guarantee the accuracy of colour depictions of our items. Please feel free to contact us at email@example.com for further information about any of our products.
Inquiries, advice, lonely hearts:
Please feel free to e-mail us with any inquiries about any of our products. We are happy to give you advice on if your auntie Mabel will like a product or not, and what makes a good wedding present but not about plumbing, electrics or anything you'd need a trained professional for. While we try to give the best professional impartial advice but can't take responsibility if your girlfriend dumps you because she didn't like a gift you bought from us.
If your goods arrive faulty or broken please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org within 24 hours of receiving your goods. We will ask you to return the goods to us with a copy of our returns form as soon as possible and within 28 days of delivery. We will then give you a full refund including delivery.
Security / Privacy
We respect your privacy and only hold information required to process your orders. The information we ask of you through the checkout process is the minimum required to process your order. We do not hold or store any payment information details, including credit card numbers or bank details.
We ask you to provide a contact telephone number so that we can contact you if there is any issue with an order you have placed. We do not make sales phone calls and will only ever call in relation to an order.
We do not pass your telephone number, email address or other details to any other organisations other than to process your order or as required by law.
We will send order confirmation, dispatch confirmation and other relevant emails related only to orders you have placed to the email address provided by you when registering with us to create your account.
If you have signed up to our mailing list, from time to time we would like to inform you by email of events, new product launches or special offers. If you no longer wish to receive these emails from us, you can unsubscribe in the your account area of the website or you can send an email to email@example.com saying that you do not wish to receive further emails.
All information we hold on you is kept securely and confidentially as required by the Data Protection Acts 1988 and 2003.
By using this website you agree that all the information, communications, photography, text, images, graphics, software, trademarks, trade names, logos and other materials and services on this website (the “content”) are protected by copyright, trademark, database rights, sui generis rights and other intellectual property laws under the national laws of Ireland and international treatise.
