Olio: An elegant collection by Barber & Osgerby

Olio: An elegant collection by Barber & Osgerby

Olio by Barber & OsgerbyThe Olio collection by Barber & Osgerby for Royal Doulton was inspired by found objects and hand-made ceramics from all over the world. Starting the design process with a view to creating an eclectic mix of shapes and materials, the result is a collection that will sit comfortably in many settings. Standing alone or mixed and matched, these pieces make an excellent wedding gift offering, representing the traditional in their materials, but with contemporary edge ensuring they will be used and treasured for many years. From the range we have beautiful salad bowls, jugs, mugs and platters as well as a wonderful stainless steel cutlery set and a solid oak hand server.

The considered use of materials is paramount to the collection. Exposed stoneware is a key feature - giving a natural variation of colour in each piece, whether in soft neutrals, red or black. The addition of wood and stainless steel pieces combined with ceramic create a visually arresting palette.
