Look of the Irish

designist are proud to present “The Look of the Irish”; a week long event that will showcase Irish design in its most current form. We have invited local designers to present their work in the store, offering us all a glimpse of Irish design right now.

The exhibition coincides with the city’s St Patrick’s Day festivities, hopefully offering people the chance to experience Irish products without a mention of Guinness or Aran Jumpers.

At designist we believe products should be beautiful and affordable and for this reason we decided not to sell items over 100 euro. As a result we had to turn down some really useful bigger ticket items from Irish designers.
So, we thought we’d get them in for the week.
