behind the scenes

Our Jo is a qualified Santa Elf. You wouldn't believe the amount of boxes we sent and received over December.

THE Christmas card for that special someone.

There we are. 68 George's street, right in the heart of Dublin with gifts for literally everyone.

Our Gay Byrne Christmas card landed this year and we reckon it's a classic. You all seemed to like it a lot.

We expected a crazy storm - it was certainly breezy here in Dublin but not quite the batten down the hatches we'd been hearing about. The shop is cozy and dry and the perfect place to shelter if the weather kicks off. And of course, everything's available online.

Parcels all wrapped up ready for collection. Don't forget, if you're sending gifts to friends and family overseas we can help. Actually, we can do it for you. All you need to do is hop online or pop into us and choose your gifts and we'll do the rest.

Now how about this set for a gorgeous gift? Made in slane co. meath by The Handmade Soap Company, it is beautifully packaged and includes their famous Christmas Candle, scented with cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and pine, and their signature christmas-scented diffuser. Guaranteed to make someone very happy.

We raised our Christmas card game this year with this pop up robin card from Paper Bear that doubles as a lovely decoration and looks great on a windowsill, shelf or even on the tree.

Since Conor Pope gave us a shoutout in the Times, it was all hands on deck in the packing room. Jennie was there a lot too, helping and having the craic. Actually, mainly having the craic.

This Twisted Doodles card is for everyone who doesn't believe Santa's watching.

We also have a great range of educational gifts...

Sprouts are essential and thankfully the traditional cooking method of boiling them for about 3 hours is a thing of the past. Stir fry them with ginger, roast them with chestnuts, steam and dress with hazelnuts and orange or bake with cream, parmesan and pancetta. Yum!!!
