Featured in Saturday’s Irish Times, The Fate of Fausto is an absolutely gorgeous book and a cautionary tale for our times that younger readers will love. It’s about an extremely arrogant man who wants to own everything - and guess what? It doesn’t work out as planned. It’s funny, thoughtful and as Sara Keating says "as beautiful to hold as it is a delight to read." Perfect rainy day reading.

Yep, we really do have an excellent birthday card selection 🎂🎂🎁🎁

Vanessa Power aka Signs of Power is one of our favourite signwriters. Her passion for typography and hand lettering can be enjoyed all over Dublin, from The Abbey Theatre to our neighbours Loose Canon on Drury street. We recently heard that her exhibition 'Threesome' at Hang Tough has been extended until October 31st. We absolutely loved it and think a lot of you will too.

Dublin keeps on sprawling but you can keep it manageable with our lovely laser-cut pop-up card. It's also a great way of reminding a far-flung loved one just how deadly our city is.

Now here’s a blast from the past. A cassette tape that’s a brilliant recordable birthday greeting card. You can record up to 2 minutes of audio which will play automatically when the send a sound message card is opened. It can even be re-recorded and used again, so you can pass messages back and forth – old school style!

Talking shop!

It can be tough, but you can do it! This little gem by Paul Woods will keep you on the right path on your way to the top. Read Laura's review in this week's blogpost on the website.
