Dublin the Pale Socks

The Pale was the area of Dublin and its surrounds that were under the control of the Normans, and therefore somewhat civilised. This is also where the saying Beyond the Pale comes from, meaning outside the limits of acceptable behavior or judgment as if it was outside of Dublin, it was just not as good - no wonder the people from Cork have a chip on their shoulders. 

The irish socksciety are Alex and Joanna, a pair of best friends based in Galway who dance, laughs and work together. They are the kind of people who usually wear baggy, black or grey clothes but socks, socks are very special to them. They choose them very carefully, sometimes odd socks, sometimes patterned or themed, and always lots of colour.
