Naughty Nectar - Spicy Fermented Honey
Hot Honey is really hot right now, and we've picked up a delicious fermented version from Amsterdam, made by Saucy Dans. Made with Madame Jeanette Chillis, from Suriname.
With a scoville scale score of 125,000–325,000, somewhat similar to a Scotch Bonnet, but with a fruity profile with hints of mango and pineapple. It's heat is tempered byt the fermentation process and the honey to give you a medium hot sauce, given a savoury balance by the shallots and garlic.
Naughty Nectar is perfect served on pizza, grilled vegetables, fried chicken, as part of a marinade or even in your coffee.
