Winner of the Kate Greenaway Medal in 1978 for distinguished illustration in a book for children, Each Peach Pear Plum is a delight to the eyes.  It features a host of much loved nursery-rhyme characters on mini adventures, accompanied by an easy rhyming story. Tom Thumb is in the cupboard. Can you spy Mother Hubbard? Cinderella on the stairs, I spy the three bears. Culminating with everyone eating pie together. 

Full of charming details, it's a book that's sure to delight parents and children alike. It was so popular in my house that we can all still recite it from memory.
