Boatyard Double Gin Infused Chocolate
Now this really is proper chocolate. This rich dark chocolate with 68.5% cocoa has been designed alongside The Boatyard Distillery to create a gin infused chocolate that is so much greater than the sum of its parts.
Working with the highest quality organic spent botanicals produced in their gin-making process, The very clever folks at The Proper Chocolate Company have designed this vegan chocolate to parallel The Boatyard Double Gin. It has overtones of juniper-berry that give it a scrumptious layered flavour, perfect for eating alongside your g&t.
As bean-to-bar chocolate makers, The Proper Chocolate Company hand-sort, roast, crack and winnow (that's removing the husks to you and me) the cocoa beans; then refine, conche (that's the intense mixing, agitating, and aerating of heated the liquid chocolate), age, temper, mould and package each bar of chocolate, all from their base in Dublin.

What's it made of?
Organic cocoa beans, cocoa butter, organic sugar and organic Boatyard Distillery Spent Botanicals. The cocoa bean variety is Acriollado (Criollo x Amelonado) and Neo-Nacional. Certified Organic.
Origin:Kokoa Kamili, Kilombero Valley, Tanzania. 2019 harvest.
How does it come?
The 80gr bar comes in a plastic pouch approx. 20x13cm
All bars are produced in a factory setting where treenuts, peanuts and dairy are processed.
