Busáras Station Tea Towel
A lovely cotton Tea Towel featuring Busáras.
Completed in 1953 by architect Michael Scott, amid plenty of controveersy, this amazing building was designed to be far more than the Bus station. The orginal design also contained a restaurant, a night club and a theatre, which still remains in the basement. It won the RIAI triennial gold medal in 1955 and was heralded as "Europe’s first postwar office building" by American and British journals. Some people still think it ruins the view of the custom house though.
