We have done a little restock of our books for kids this week. Bedtime stories are a favourite in our house; it is a great way to spend a little bit of time with the kids before bed and it helps to wind things down after the excitements of the day. Unless we read ‘Don’t worry little crab’ or ‘The Presidents Surprise’, as the son loves these both so much he ends up jumping up and down on the bed reciting the books from cover to cover. Both are now available in paper back. Me, I am always (not so) secretly pleased when they chose ‘Tiny and Teeny’, as a I love the illustrations in this book.
.
However you like to do bedtime stories, we have a lovely little collection of Irish books for little minds to grow with. Check them out.

I have a real soft spot for enamelware. I love the feel of it and how it looks. Did you know enamelware is made by melting glass powder onto a tough metal surface like steel? Because of the glass, this makes the surface really hygienic and anti-bacterial because it is not even a teeny bit porous. We currently have these really lovely butter dishes and measuring jugs in stock. Available in an orange or blue design, both a stunning, and just lovely to use. The enamel parts are dishwasher safe and heat resistant.

Love fresh herbs but don’t have much window sill space in the kitchen? These Okidomes are a really clever way to keep those indoor herb gardens growing green and ready for when you need them. They even have a little water reserve meaning it doesn’t matter if you forget to water them every now and again. They are designed to stick into the glass with super strong suction pad that will attach to anything with a shiny hard surface, like glass, ceramic, even fridges.

RESTOCK! Delighted to have had a new batch of these gorgeous candles arrive yesterday. Bluebell, rain, grass, rhubarb and earth. All made with vegan soy wax and perfectly blended amount of fragrance, you have to smell these candles to fully appreciate just how good they are.
