Our dirty old town may be getting a bad rap at the minute, but despite all its problems, it's a fascinating place to get to hang out every day. Cities by their very nature are complex, ever evolving systems, full of competing needs and desires, that should never really work at all, but somehow they do. And of all the ones I've ever encountered, few are as captivating as this fair city.
