Croke Park Dublin Tea Towel

A view of Croke Park, the home of the GAA. There has been a stadium on this site since 1891 but this view is of the redeveloped stadium completed in 2005. The redevelopment was done 4 in stages starting in 1991 so the stadium was never completely closed during the redevelopment, and the All Irelands were still played here every year. With a capacity of 82,300 Croke Park is the 4th largest capacity stadium in Europe and the largest not used for soccer. Not bad for an amateur sport.
