I am not a dog
I Am NOT a Dog is the story of a mixed-up mutt who can't figure out where he fits in among all the "real" dogs. He's not strong like a great dane, he's not fast like a greyhound, and he's not tough like a bulldog. He can only seem to focus on what he lacks and it's causing the poor scruffy fella to have an identity crisis.
This is a humourous and touching story about identity and self-acceptance. Author Peter Donnelly's illustrations are full of humour and personality. The story builds to a touching ending that encourages young readers to be their unique selves rather than compare themselves to others.
