The Cultured Club
What is it?
Fermented food is exceptionally good for you. It promotes digestive health, has anti-inflammatory properties and can boost your immune system in a natural, healthy way. The problem is, with all that worthiness, you often miss out on taste. Is it just medicine or can it be enjoyed?
In Dearbhla Reynolds' new book she shows us that yes, it can! She has crafted recipes that are easy to follow, nutritionally sound, and equally as important, delicious! The book walks you through the initial fermentation process and onto recipes you can make using your fermented foods, meaning your hard work won't just linger at the back of the fridge or cupboard.
This is an accessible, enthusiastic beautiful book - it would make an excellent present paired with our anaerobic fermentation crocks.
Who wrote it?
Dearbhla Reynolds - an Irish expert in the art of making fermented and cultured foods and is at the forefront of its current international revival. She has been running fermentation courses for the past couple of years, and working with Michelin starred restaurant Ox, in Belfast.
