wow, what a week that was!
So, it’s been quite the 10 days. On 6th of March I disappeared off to have a baby, safe and secure that I had a wonderful team in place who could deal with almost anything in my absence, and boy have they had to! Having talked to them all today, we’ve come to the collective decision that we will only operate online for the foreseeable future. This allows us to respect social distancing rules, keep our staff safe, but also keep them employed. Thankfully our staff live locally and don’t have to take public transport to work. What this means is that the shop will be (wo)manned from 10-6.30 Monday - Saturday, and from 12-5.30 on Sundays, but we won’t be open to the public. You can order online for immediate collection in store (we’ll bring your lovely stuff to the door for you), or for delivery. As always, we can gift wrap any presents and hand write your greetings cards for you. We’ve put up a nifty new doorbell at our front door so you can get our attention when you need to. The shop in Science Gallery is closed until March 29th at least, but we have all the stock in George’s Street so we can fulfill all your science needs! We’ve extended the free shipping offer on our website until the end of March, just use the code HELLOBABY. Oh, it’s a boy, and he’s the most delicious thing in the world.

The door might be locked, the scaffolding still up but we still have a fantastic window thanks to Laura. Laura’s childhood dream was to be the artist who drew Christmas murals on shop windows. And now she has a whole window to play with. Building up the window display is probably her most fav. part of her job along with having the chats with all the customers. And while there will be a few less chats (in person at least) for the next while, we do still have a window. So if your in town have a peek. Laura will make sure it is jammers full of lovely designist stuff. (Ps we also have buckets of remarkable gifts for the mammy which you can still order for collection so you can get it on time for tomorrow. Be nice to your mammy).
