Botanic Gardens Glasshouse Tea Towel

A lovely cotton teatowel featuring the National Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin. 

The Palm House featured on the tea towel was built in1862, but the Botanic Gardens in Glasnevin is actually much older than that. It was set up in 1795 by the Dublin Society (later the RDS). The Palm house was fully restored in 2004 and won an award for excellence in conservation.
