Capall na beatha an gra. The direct translation of this Seanfocail is Love is the horse of life, but what it's really getting at is that Love makes the world go around. Why horse? I guess given how important they are / were in Irish culture it makes sense. They're full of majesty and mystery but can be your best friend and a very good companion. Depending on how they're running you can win or loose a fortune - sounds a lot like love to me.
