The current rhetoric is that cities are bad for us. They are noisy, polluted, overcrowded and unnatural, but by greening them and treating them as living organisms we can make them better, right? Celebrated Sociologist and professor of medical humanities and social sciences at University College Cork , Des Fitzgerald takes a very entertaining look at what has lead us to this conclusion and what the city of tomorrow might in fact look like.
