Peas in a Pod Screenprint - Unframed - by Alice Fitzgerald
This beautifully finished, large print was specially commissioned exclusively for designist as part of our Wedding collection.
Consisting of two colours; a lush deep black and a rich, sparkly gold, this large, abstract, limited run screen print is designed by Alice Fitzgerald, a Dublin-based visual artist and designer and printed by Damn Fine Print. The bold, abstract shapes play with order and chaos and is influenced by modernist painters like Ellsworth Kelly, Jean Arp and Matisse.
Both the name and the forms are a nod to the feeling of comfort and sympathy in finding your other half. Weddings are events full of hope and celebration so what better way to mark this. The touch of gold in the print gives it a luxurious feeling befitting of the occasion.
